Hi grade 3c serous carcinoma ovarian cancer

Hi I've just been diagnosed with Hi grade 3c ovarian cancer and Im having chemo (paclitaxel and carboplatin) on Tuesday.  I'm very nervous but I iknow the cancer is bad so I'll  die without it. Im 63 yrs old. After 3 cycles of chemo I will need a massive op ... from my breast bone to pubic bone to search for the floating cancers and to take out the peritoneum thats cancerous and all the gynae parts. Ouch. Then 3 more cycles of chemo.  Etc etc. If anyone has any advice or is going through OC I would love a friend to chat to.

    Sorry Carol no advice, I'm currently awaiting results but based on a high CA125 and swollen abdomen I am expecting the worst. I just wanted to say here to chat if you need someone though. It's all so terryfying. Sounds like the doctors have a plan for you though. I hope the treatment goes smoothly for you xx
