Hello I'm also triple negative,I had chemo then the op and after radiotherapy,I went on chemo tablets after that,try not to worry so much I know it's difficult but you just have to stay positive and strong,you will fight this and it's not always doom and gloom.The operation was a success so there is always a positive out come x

Thanks, your situation sounds like mine. Are you now cancer free? Hope so. How old are you? I keep reading that triple negative tends to affect younger women more x

Yes I'm now cancer free,I'm 55 years old I had to have the genetic gene because I have a lot of family members who had cancer.I haven't got the gene I was told it was just one of those things.I did keep positive through it all and did not let it get the better of me,I just went with it all had a year of chemo 6 months before the op and 6 months of the tablet form after,you will get through it x

Thank you, it does help me to try and find my fight I seem to be stuck feeling tearful and sorry for myself but I know that's no help, I need to be more positive and get through it for my children x

I got told the same its just bad luck. My mum was one of 5 of 7 seven sisters who got breast cancer. But from what I can gather from only remaining aunt as my mum.sadly passed away last year is they didn't have triple negative. Xx
