Sorry to hear you're in so much discomfort after the lumpectomy. I was in the same position as you - I had my op nearly three weeks ago. My scar starts under my armpit and extends to the nipple as I had two areas that needed to be removed. As a result, I couldn't tolerate any bra with a seam under the arm - which is 99.9% of them! I eventually found one sports bra M&S and I also spoke to the ladies at Nicolajane.com and bought the bra they recommended. Thank you so much for replying. I shall take a look. My scar is around 2 inch, above the nipple and to the right towards the armpit. Not helped by them going in twice in a week.

Have you used anything on the scar or breast to ease the discomfort? X

Hi not sure if this might help but I was given a heart shape small cushion to put under my armpit and it really helped ease the pressure, might be worth a try x

No I didn't really want to touch the wound and the breast was too sore. After I started to wear a comfortable bra it became much more bearable quite quickly. I hope yours is the same.

I let my breast be free overnight and exposed it to the air to help healing ️ 
 

I also ordered 2 more bras from M&S, the sports bra suggested plus a sleep bra which has good reviews and was in the sale. Paid for next day delivery so will be here today- here's hoping for some relief! 
In regards to using a small soft cushion is that when sitting and sleeping or are you keeping it underarm when moving around?

Oh and Happy March everyone- Spring will come and lift us up. Hope everyone is doing ok

It was Kiera123 who posted about the little cushion. Wish I'd know it sound a like a great idea. Got my results of then lumpectomy today - feeling a little apprehensive but I'm sure it will be fine. Happy March - spring is just around the corner.
