I find myself thinking about cancer many times every day although I had a successful lumpectomy last August
Is this common?
will it continue?
any advice?
thank you

Hi
I am exactly the same, every single day and I'm sick to death of it ruling my life.
I was first diagnosed in 2014, had surgery and that was it, after 3 years it returned and I had more surgery n chemo. Again I had to start counting the years from 0 hoping to get to 5 years. I'm now over 2 years and I am having issues again, hopefully it won't be back but any symptoms and the anxiety becomes unbearable once again.
I feel like I live under a black cloud.
Anyone with any advice to make it better I would love to hear it.

I am sorry to hear that your concern is stressing you
I can understand that after a recurrence the worry must increase and my heart goes out to you
i am trying to keep a gratitude diary - each day thinking of at least 3 things I am grateful for
i also pray giving thanks and asking for strength
I hope you can find some calm soon
sending my best thoughts
