I find myself thinking about cancer many times every day although I had a successful lumpectomy last August
Is this common?
will it continue?
any advice?
thank you

Certainly for me the fear is still there and I was diagnosed 2018. Cancer remains with me on a daily basis. I'm still having adjuvant treatment but I'm not sure even if I was completely finished that I would feel any different. Recurrence is a real issue for most women unless you've actually been told you have been cured. Completely normal to take however long to process everything that's happened to you.
Thank you so much for replying and sharing your feelings
It means a lot just to be able to share with others as I feel that I cannot share my concerns with my family as they would find it too upsetting
I am on Letrazole for 5 years
i wish you health and happiness
Thank you for sharing. I had a mastectomy in July last year and I'm so concerned about the cancer coming back too. I feel like I'm waiting for the inevitable. It helps to know I'm not the only one

I think that it is a normal concern for us from what I've now read
i hope that all goes well for you in the future and you can relax about anything happening again
Sending all good wishes
