Last October I found out I had DCIS in my left breast, I had 2 surgerys in November, I was told it was only 2mm big but after the second surgery they said that they had found 42.5mm of DCIS, which came as a big shock. I then had 3 weeks of radiotherapy in February.
From after the surgery the breast has been very uncomfortable, I have told them this every appointment I have been to. I was able to go back to the gym and do basic work outs again, press ups ect, but over the last 4 weeks it has become more and more painful to move the arm or use the muscle around the breast, and even laying and moving in bed, and giving a hug hurts. I went to my GP and he said there is no sign of infection, so has put me on high does anti inflammatory. Not doing much so far after a week, but will keep going.
Is this normal?
i know that the scar tissue is not as flexible, but this is really getting me down now
thanks
