I was diagnosed last Nov, had surgery , chemo and radiotherapy   and I feel the same , no one has actually told me I'm cancer free now. I feel it would be nice to talk to people that have gone through the same experience

I don't think anyone can be certain the cancer won't come back - if you have checkups they just show you have no evidence of disease at that time. If it is going to come back you will get symptoms such as a new lump, puckering of the skin round the site of the original op, pain in the back or somewhere else. Most people get recurrences or spread to other parts of the body in the first two years after diagnosis but it can come back years later.

I was anxious for years but I don't bother now as I'm now alive 13 years later. I had a small tumour just under 2cm, no spread to lymph nodes, low grade cancer and took tamoxifen for a few years. The grade and size of cancer I had was less likely to spread than more aggressive kinds. I was 47 when I found my lump I am now 61. If you don't have lymph nodes involved you have a good chance it won't have spread anywhere. I imagine that's the case with  you as you don't say you had chemo.
