I so agree with the eating healthy bit. you say that 80% input was yours, because of this. Could I ask you what sort of changes you did make to your diet please? Personally I have changed my diet for the better (not that it was ever bad and I never smoked). I do believe it imortant to give up sugar if possible.

 I was 55 when I was diagonised with tongue cancer with the most complex medical history including

type one diabetes.    I started with physical exercise by learning cycling for the first few months and

at the same time stoped eating sugary food completely.    It was not easy but I concentrated on green

vegetables and fish for the first three years while cycling upto 15 to 20 after a year.    I can go on and on but when I finished my first five years I was surprised as much as doctors that I made it and got out of woods. 

I now eat mainly fish chicken and green vegetable not to say I do eat other food when I wish to but that is on rare occassions.   I think combination of food and diet is the key to overcome any medical condition.

I have never smoked in my life but there you are.
