No problem at all. We all need some way to let it out and sometimes just the writing it down can help. Virtual hugs and hope you both have a peaceful night. Jules x
Good morning Jules.
Bet it seems quiet now the family have all gone home. Pleased to read you had a good Christmas as did we. It was a very quiet one but also very enjoyable, Glad you managed your walk the other day. I am having problems walking at the moment. Years ago I fractured my knee cap and I still have a bone fragment floating about. When we get wet weather like we have had a lot of lately, it always gives me problems. I have tried several things over the years but I just have to wait until the weather improves.
I have finished another one of my stories but have also started three more. Just cant seem to get them done as quick as I come up with new ideas at the moment. The one I am working on at the moment is a science fiction one and I am really enjoying writing it and have come up with new ideas of how it ends for it overnight.
I bought more chestnuts yesterday even though I still have some left as I wanted to get more as the season is almost finished. Mrs B and I love our new chairs and never want to get out of them; they are so comfortable.
I have Januarys newsletter almost ready to send out. I only have the chairmans message to add to it and can then send it off to my friend who proof reads it for me. Just like you used to do.
There is a very faint patch of blue sky try hard to break through the cloud hare at the moment.
My son hit a huge hole in the road which blew his front tyre out instantly. Luckily he did not have an accident because of it. . He had to have a new tyre as the old one was shredded. We had also hit the same hole a few days earlier when it was not so big but were not able to report it as everywhere seemed to be closed over Christmas.
As the year draws to a close, may I wish you and your family a very happy New Year, Take care, Brian
Hi Brian,
Must be frustrating having your knee playing up but. like you, I do find the damp weather plays the problems up more. Luckily I use a pain relief gel when I need to so this enables me to still get out and about. . My Mum used a heat lamp when her knees were bad playing up but I have not yet had to try this.
Sorry to hear about your son's pot hole problems following on from your own. Tyres are definitely not cheap replacements but good to know he was not involved in an accident because of it. Our council has a website where such things can be reported 24/7 (it is also where I found out our rubbish collection dates for the festive season this year). I was on there over Christmas to report some unsightly fly-tipping in the shopping area (doorways to flats above) and this was soon cleared thankfully.
Have been out to the gym/shops and short walk this morning. Will be a quiet New Year as at work tomorrow .....normal routine resumed.
5 years on Friday since hubby died so will visit his final resting place and take!! time for a period of reflection after the highs of Christmas. Definitely quieter now the family has gone home but so good to have had them here. I was less stressed than I anticipated as I hosted alone for the first time but my children/grandchildren made it all worthwhile and high praise indeed from my eldest grandson who, following Christmas Day lunch, asked to come back next year!!
So pleased that the new chairs are being enjoyed; just as it should be. Take care of each other and wish you both a very pleasant and peaceful 2020. Jules
Hi Jules,
Cant believe its five years since your sad loss. Your hubby must be very proud of what you have done since as it cant be easy coping with a loss like that. It must have been an emotional visit for you.
Mrs B and I both visited the graveyard before Christmas and she to put a wreath on her parents grave and I put one on my mothers resting place. She used to love having the family all together at Christmas and I still miss her even after all these years.
I have finished another story and the next night came up with two more ideas for stories. I now have 20 under construction. Am coming up with ides quicker than I can write them
Havent told her as yet but I have ordered an owl light for Mrs B. The owl is cut into clear acrlic and is lit up with led lights which change colour. She put a lot of effort into organising Christmas so its my way of thanking her for all her hard work.
Arnt those fire in Austrlia bad?. Hope the lovely lady we used to talk to is okay. When you think about it, we are quite lucky in this country by comparison.
I wish a peaceful weekend; sending kind thoughts to you and your family, Brian
Thinking of you today, Jules. God bless, big hug.

Hi Hazel
Good to see your name crop up again. I hope you had a great Christmas and I wish you a very happy NEW YEAR, Brian
Hi Hazel and Brian,
Thank you both so much for your kind messages on the anniversary of hubby's passing. It was a day of cherished memories as well as creating new ones as I was invited over to my sons' for an afternoon walk with the family and roast dinner (how could I refuse!!).
So a new decade begins and I wish you both a peaceful year ahead. Best regards Jules x
Hi all, thought I would share a couple of pictures from my walk yesterday. Jules

Hi Jules
Thanks for the new photos and love the one of the robin
I started a new story last Sunday and finnished it on Wednesday (38 pages) and I have now got a total of 21 other new stories under way. I have also downloaded a free book from Amazon on publishing on Kindle. Must find time to read it so I can start publishing my own stories.
I have recently bought Mrs B a light up owl (Picture attached) as she was so brave in dealing with her cancer and it was also to thank her for all the hard work she did for Christmas. She likes it very much and it has 7 differnt colours. I have also bought he a couple of owl necklaces which she loves also as a surprise. It was worth it just watching her face as she opened up the packed.
Hope work is not too hard with the new year sales. It sounds like today and tommorow will be okay for walking, even if a bit on the cool side. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend. Best wishes, Brian

Hi Brian,
I can see why Mrs B was delighted with her present.
You have been busy and no sign of writer's block ha ha. Would be lovely to see you self-publish after all the effort you are putting in to getting your ideas/stories put down.
It was a beautiful early morning (and still very sunny) so having just missed the bus decided to take the scenic route to the garden centre. Was justly rewarded with some great scenery.
Hope you have a very pleasant weekend. Hopefully I will be out and about again tomorrow. Jules
