Oh Jules forgive my post on my site to you .....I am so sorry not to have known of your hubbies departure. You know from the support you have given me how well I understand your current situation and my heart goes out to you. My site tells of my joirney through this uncharted place you find yourself in. It is difficult but you will come through.
Just lovely to see your name appear on my thread and suspect its just as hard for you to post but I really appreciate the message. It was a long three years for hubby and I take much comfort in the fact that he is now free from the clutches of his disease which took his happiness away. I am surrounded by the love of my family and friends (and the ongoing support of virtuality buddies) and now, like you, my life must be lived to the best of my ability. Early days still but so many memories to cherish and share with others - a few late nights of 'story-telling' along the way.

Have to say, that your talk of a new washer/dryer, also got another of your forum buddies quite excited too! ;) Ashamed to say, I've had a lie in this morning (used to be an early riser like you) but just lately, I seem to keep waking up in the night and then dozing back off only to find it's gone 9 when I finally awake! Good job I'm not back at work or I'd be sitting outside the Head teacher's office for bad time keeping! :)
I hope you get your new wall sorted soon - it's often getting quotes that proves to be the longest part of the process! Your son-in-law sounds a treasure. I expect you have been or are going for your usual Sunday morning walk and allthough it's a bit cold, Its quite a nice morning for a walk otherwise. Took Mrs B out for a ride yesterday but I had a couple of lights come on my dashboard so had to cut it short. Electrics are playing up so if the fault doesnt clear up will have to get it checked out.
Bet you will be glad to get your new WASHER. Our old one used to sound like it was going to blow up the last time Mrs B used it as the bearing had gone. I have another cancer meeting tommorow afternoon so hope it will be okay.
Hi Jules, I will be very interested as to how you find the new drier works. I found they ruined knicker elastic and have chosen not to use mine for many years. Whatever did they call the thing we used to have in kitchens , big pole, raised by pulley system? Kathy xx

I have finishes all my nuts and Mrs B has told me, If I send for some flowers for her for Valentines day, she might make me some more cheese straws. I am convinced you ladies take a course on pyscology for you always seem to find a way to wrap us men around your fingers so to speak. I told Mrs B it was blackmail :devil:and all she did was to laugh. So I have had to give in yet again Kathy. Us men can never win. :cry:

No Brian, you naughty boy I don't use the drier as such, plus as its on the wall being a shortass I can't reach it. Talking about knickers my girls friends refer to g strings as dental floss for the ***. So needless to say we don't support them or they wouldn't support us as the case. How does Mrs B handle you?
