  • Morning George,

Yes, it's so sad isn't it?  I would dearly love to have another dog, but with state of health a bit precarious and as I live alone, I don't think it would be fair on the poor thing.  Ria has had a wonderful life with you, George.

I am off for a little break today to Sussex, so hope the weather stays kind!

Take care, lovely man, Hazel xx

  • Hi Lass ,had a bad day today Ria walking funny her back leg lets her down no pain she lets me touch it and rub it ,but calling her vet in the morning to make a appointment ,She eats well and likes her walk but I do have to take her in the car then she can enjoy her walk .The hot weather does not help very hot to hot..regards for now.george lol

  • Hello George, sorry I didn't reply earlier, I have been away for a week.  I am so sorry about your little mate.  Did you manage to see the vet or make an appointment?  It's so worrying, the poor little things can't tell us what's wrong, can they?  I do hope it isn't anything too serious, George.  The good thing is that she is still eating well and still wants her walkies.

Do take care, give Ria a cuddle from me. God bless.

    Hazel xx

  • Hi Hazel you are one fantastic lady no have to wait  3 days to see her vet but today she as been better  still lifts her right back leg but had two good walks ,and ate well she is my best mate ,and i am a ex-regular gunner with lots of mates but none like RIA  she is a one off .regards lol george

  • Hi George

Just caught up with the forum chats having been away from home (and thus the laptop).  Hope best pal Ria' leg continues to improve and that the visit to the vet will go okay. There were plenty of doggies taking part in the Race for Life with us all today - man and womens' best friends putting best feet forward for 5K.  Hope you both enjoying Sunday and following the pouring rain this morning it is now sun shining - typically  now the Event is over and we crossed the line looking like we had stepped out of the shower fully clothed ha ha.

Take care my friend.  Jules xx

  • Hi Julies you are one fantastic lady i have had a drop of the red stuff so will speak later lol george
