  • Hi George

Delighted to read that you are, as always, making the most of your days and no doubt still listening to 'her indoors'  with a definite sense of humour.  Sending hugs and will be thinking of you as you face your next round of appointments - all the very best.  Jules xx

  • Hi George,

Just to wish you all the best for tommorow. I like you have to take notice of her indoors. For unlike you I cant cook and if I dont behave, I face having to try and cook my own meals ha ha.

Take care my friend, best wishes, Brian.

  • Good luck for your appointments today and Thursday, George.  Keep taking the walks as well as the tablets!

All the best and take care, Hazel x

  • Hi All.

A waste of time at my GPs she wants me to have a scan and a further blood test that will be the fifth

test in as many months ,Plus the check in computer did not work it missed my booking in and it took 1,1/4 hours to see the GP.I think it is time to make changes and go elswere there is a new practice nearer home .Fed up ,but at least our Beverley had good results  no cancer just piles and they banded them ,so all OK could be back at school Thurs, the head as told to stay off till Monday but she likes her work and wants to go back .regards now to all .george

  • Hi George

Great news about your daughter and bet she will enjoy her return to work whenever she decides to go.

What a shame that you feel let down by the GP and now face more tests.scan. I am sure you will make the right decision if you would like to move to a practice nearer to home - I would not blame you as it would make the whole appointment thing much easier for you too.

Wet and miserable here today and thank goodness for waterproof coat on my way back from work (still rather walk than catch the bus!).  Take care my friend and give Ria a pat from me.  Jules x

  • Hello, George,

Very pleased to hear that your daughter is OK.

Sorry about the problems at your surgery, that's a hell of a time to wait!  I think you should go for it with the one nearer home, it would be much easier for you.

Hope you fare better on Thursday!

    Keep safe, Hazel x

  • Hi Flower .All went well saw the guy about my tinitus and had my hears checked ears ok the hearing aids I have are good  for two years but he said as for the tinitus my GP should refer me to a hearing clinic in a local Hospital .He thinks it could be Meniere`s.So Again i think my GP is letting me down. But while out in our town I  went into our local market and bought some nice fresh fish and ate a full mackrel for lunch fantastic what a treat .Well that is me for now speak soon .regards george lol

  • Hello, George, you really have to do something about that GP.  Tinnitus can be so debilitating.  I have never had it before, but during this current course of chemo I have noticed that, when it's quiet, I can hear my heart thumping in my ears much more loudly than usual.  Apparently one of the chemo drugs I'm on can cause temporary (I hope!) tinnitus, according to the notes dished out at the beginning, so I think that's what must be the cause.  It's a bit of a nuisance, so I'd not like the full-blown version!

Anyway, at least you made the most of your visit to town, getting your lovely mackerel for lunch!  Bet that went down well.  Does Ria like fish as well?

    Take care,

    Hazel x

  • Hi George,

I am so to hear your doctor has let you down. My sister in laws Menieres comes and goes but has improved since she saw someone who speciialzes in it. They wernt able to offer any treatment but were able to recomend things to avoid ect. Sounds like you need to have a strong word with your gp.

Take care, best wishes as usual, Brian.
