I am

5 months post chemo radiotherapy for anal cancer. My first follow up scan showed good response with no spread. It did show gallstones which cause me nausea and occasional vomiting so I’m just waiting for an appointment to see a general surgeon. Just what I need after this brutal treatment!

I am really struggling with painful hips and legs. I’m still taking 50mgs zomorph daily and occasionally ibuprofen and paracetamol. I’m currently trying a heat pad, which seems to help a little but I’m finding it hard to move forward due to the constant pain.

I would be very grateful if anyone has any tips or have found anything that has helped them
