Hello
I know it's bad but I'm worrying about my CT scan results. I was diagnosed with a high grade undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma last year in October and had it removed the same month then had 30 sessions of radiotherapy in February and March to the affected area to make fully sure it's gone. The radiotherapy was on my left shoulder and it really began to hurt and affect movement- to the point where my boss told me that I had to take time off of work to recover after I finished all the sessions - I work in a science laboratory so I used my hands a lot and had to move the affected arm too. I was reluctant to take time off as we were short staffed already
Since then I've been okay - I've been going back to the gym and have been trying to push myself in order to get closer to where I was a year ago. However I've noticed a pain more and more around the wound site and I'm wondering if it's from the gym or if it's something more. But it doesn't feel like the typical gym strain
My CT was almost a month ago and I haven't heard anything about it, so I'm guessing that's good. They would have said if it was something, but I also know I have an oncology appointment soon so part of me is worried that they are waiting for them.
I am feel quite new in this journey and this was my first CT scan since completing radiotherapy so I don't know what's normal or typical.
Thank you for your time and I hope all of you are doing okay
