Next year I'm due to stop tamoxifen. But as I don't have an oncologist who's going to stop me? What if I just carry on taking it for 15 or 20 years? I'm feeling a bit lost
I've just recently finished my treatment and am on Tamoxifen. I Know someone else who is due to finish after 10 years so questioned why only 5 for me and was told that new research shows that the risks outway benefits for taking that long so that's the reason.
