We're just in the process of moving to a bigger property and with a baby on the way we're looking to purchase life insurance and critical illness cover.
I have Lynch Syndrome but (touch wood) I've not had any cancer develop yet and I have regular colonoscopies to keep an eye on things.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting life insurance whilst being diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome? If so, how did you get on and can you recommend any particular insurers? Were you asked about Lynch Syndrome etc? I have cancer in my family and filling in some online quotes started prompting questions about Lynch Syndrome, eek.
I've taken a look at the CRUK Life Insurance page but I couldn't find any specific information to suit my needs.

I have my mortgage advisor working as a broker and he's looking into policies for me but I thought I would ask in case anyone has traveled down this path already. The life insurance quotes I have received so far have been pretty eye-watering and that's without adding on my family history of cancer (Mum, Dad and Sister have either had, or have cancer) and without declaring my Lynch Syndrom diagnosis. I can hear the insurers breathing in through their teeth already!
Thanks in advance for any advice.
