Hi there, are you getting the DLA allowance?  When my husband was diagnosed in 2017 with lung cancer our McMillan nurse sorted it out.  We've just had to renew the application and have just been granted it again, our nurse helped us nagain.  Good luck,  Carol

i have never applied for any kind of benefit ever. II started the process today re PIP allowance and await the paperwork to complete and return.

Macmillan provide good information about this & can help if you ring them www.macmillan.org.uk/.../disability-related-benefits

If you are Stage 4 and can get a form DS1500 from your consultant or nurse it will help speed up the process.

Hi there ...

I was told pip was only for people not of pention age ... I was told attendance allowance was for people after pention age , unless your allready on D L A  ... but McMillan should help with advice and help with forms ... the pip forms are a nightmare ... and many are refused ... so deff if you can apply , get help ..
