Hi my father in law has recently been diagnosed with stomach cancer which has spread to liver and lungs,he is in a nursing home on end of life,is he entitled to.any benefits,this is all.new to.us any help would be greatly appreciated x

The benefits system is notoriously complex, but it is possible that he might be entitled something, depending on what he can do for himself. You could phone the DHSS and ask for guidance, although you might find it easier to visit your local Citizens' Advice Bureau, or (if there is one) a local disability charity.
