Introducing myself

Hi I had a malignant melanoma removed from my upper arm in August 2015 and think i have got a bit obsessive with staying out of the sun! The Consultant who did the op said he would be happy if i covered up from top to toe and applied factor 50 on everything else. so i have bought a lot of uv clothing but it is sooo hot in this heat wave! Any suggestions??

    When I lived in India I did what the locals did; wore loose white cotton pyjama-type clothes which was comfortable and reflected the sunlight.  But this is maybe what you are already doing?   So pleased you are being wise even if it is not always comfortable.  A wide-brimmed hat helps too! Annie
