Hi 1st post if you are in remission can you still claim for pip.that took over from Fla I had womb cancer now I have to go for check up 5 years my pip runs out September 2018 will i automatically be kept on it our do i need to start all over again fill the big long form in

    I'm glad to hear you are in remission but sorry that you have now to deal with these practical matters.

    After reading your post I thought of some information we have about financial support that might be helpful to read: www.cancerresearchuk.org/.../government-benefits

    Then there is Macmillan and they provide information about claiming benefits for people affected by cancer, so it might be a good idea to reach out to then.

    Hi,

    My PIP ran out last year and I had to renew my claim from scratch but the local MacMillan benefits advisor was really helpful and helped steer my claim through the process.
