I'm glad to hear you are in remission but sorry that you have now to deal with these practical matters.

Then there is Macmillan and they provide information about claiming benefits for people affected by cancer, so it might be a good idea to reach out to then.

My PIP ran out last year and I had to renew my claim from scratch but the local MacMillan benefits advisor was really helpful and helped steer my claim through the process.
