I'm 46 years old and was diagnosed in December with invasive mucinous carcinoma. This came completely out of the blue. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy on 15th January where 2 nodes were taken. Both were clear luckily. I then had a Licap reconstruction on 22nd January. I've started on Tamoxifen 11 days ago and am due to start 15 sessions of radiotherapy towards the end of March. I'm battling 2 things at the moment - the first is tiredness after the operations. It's 6 weeks since the second op and I still can't do much before I'm really tired. I'm nowhere near being able to work again (I'm a dog groomer). Is this normal? I'm also getting side effects from the Tamoxifen of nausea, dizziness and recently a rash around my scar from my second op. Has anyone got any suggestions to help with this? Feeling a bit down and worried my tiredness is only going to get worse with the radiotherapy. I'm self employed and want to get back to work! Thanks in advance ...
