Hi Ted
Im just the same I had cancer in my throat and saliva gland and I too am tired all the time 10 months on. I think you have to force yourself to get up and about especially getting outdoors for fresh air. It seems a shame we have been given extra time but unable to live it to the full. Try a regular bed time and regular getting up time, dont lie in. Make sure to excercise even a short walk is good this seems to generate a bit more energy. Eat healthy food give the sweet stuff and stodge a miss. All the best Kim
Ted,
That sounds so familiar. The treatment takes a lot out of you physically and the stress takes a lot out of you mentally. It takes a while to recover.
On the practical side, I can only echo what Kim has suggested. It would also be worth chatting with your GP and explore whether you are clinically depressed. Tiredness and insomnia can be symptomatic of depression.
Best wishes
Dave
