help with housing benefit

Hi, my brother has cancer and hasn't been able to work for the last 2 months . He has no surplus money and needs help money wise to pay the moving in fees to a flat near to us his family as he is going to be really poorly very soon . What can we do ? If anything !! Pleas help I feel lost

    Hi Michael ........   please dont worry - there is definitely something you can do cos I have just done it myself!!!!!    Please ring the McMillan Nurses (if your brother doesnt already have one at the local hospital he uses).  They will make an appt for you to see their Benefits Advisor who will go through all the Benefits to which your brother is entitled and help you fill in forms etc.  I couldnt believe how very helpful they are and how knowledgeable.   Please get an appt asap and the very best of luck x
