Insurance cover

I am wanting to know how much you think is a reasonable amount to pay for travel insurance, what experiences have others had. I recently got a few quotes, the cheapest beign £1207-80p!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous :-(  my fligh is only £110 lol, why do we cancer patients have to be penalised for something which is beyond our control? i would like to know how others feel about this and if any of you know of any GOOD insurance companys out there that won't hold our illness against us.

  • I use InsureWith who specialise in people who have had cancer. They seem very reasonable and after my first year after treatment the quote was less. I picked up a Macmillan brochure about insurance from my local Maggie's centre which was very helpful and just phoned around. I was quoted from £1100 to £190 but now pay around £160 for annual coverage.
