  • Hi Mumto5

Just wanted to wish you all the best for Thursday and hope your chemo goes well. I would also like to congratulate you for replying to others on here. I think this site is like most things in life; you get out of it what you put into it. Your responses have been good so I say thank you for participating and please keep on doing what your doing.

    Best wishes, Brian

  • thank you i will try to help people if i can because we all know it is very hard what hits us in life but somehow we always get the strength, you also make great comments and i can see you help a lot of people.

    take care,

    susan.

  • Hi Susan

Just in case I dont get on later, just wanted to wish you all the best for the start of your treatment tomorrow. Forgot to say if you have questions now (sure there are many) write them down to take  with you. Good luck and keep up that wonderful attitude = it will help you cope with your change of routine. Hope you have good support from the wonderful large family around you. Best wishes Jules

  • thank you for your support i am not looking forward to it but i know i will be ok after first treatment its true i am scared of side effects as i got a big list but it is only for a short time and it will get rid of all the cancer so it is worth it,

    susan.

  • Take heart, not everyone gets any or even all the side effects and even if you do experience them there are lots of things the medical team can do to help alleviate them. They say pre-warned is pre-armed but think it best you just cope if and when they appear. I will keep fingers crossed  they are minimal for you. Regards Jules

  • Keep it up, Susan, you will get through it !

I'm facing chemo soon, followed by radiotherapy....yuk!
    But better it's zapped !
