Travel Insurance - getting quotes which are really expensive

Hopefully this post is ok 

I had a kidney removed for cancer back in Nov 2022. I am looking to go to Barcelona for a weekend end Feb and just checked travel insurance. Most quotes recieved are more exspensive than the flights and hotel 

Is this the norm for people with Cancer
