Hello !
November 2016 operated on due to a occlusion I woke up with a stoma I was mad as H_ _L
I didn't signed up for this, then I get the news that I have colon cancer stage 4 and had to do chemio (folfox) twelve treatments let me say that I didn't like it at all, one the reason's was that I had to come home with a ''bottle'' that I had to carry around for 48 hours.
Afterward I had a scan that showed that everything was A OK I was delighted my surgeon wasn't in a hurry to operate so I kept on living with the darn bag, second scan...surprise cancer is back, now my surgeon is in a hurry...no kidding so finally I was operated on early May of this year to redo my transit and get rid of my stoma...finally the operation lasted almost 10 hours because of the hot chemio that he put in the abdominal cavity and heated at 42c that kills everything microscopic great job Doc. I'm in remission !
My stomach look like a zipper exactly nineteen inch long, altough I'm diabetic I'm healing well and starting to get my ''normal'' life back, funny how you missed something when it's taken away from you.....I guess your getting the ''drift''.
about a month ago I started to urinate blood, now what ? My surgeon ask for a cystoscopy to be made well lucky me I have bladder cancer.
How do I cope well it's quite simple I don't allow cancer to manage my day's, wich mean's no anticipation of what might be or not, it serve's nothing it only spoils your day...who needs that !
I decided to live like I want, I'm sick an tired of all the restrictions it's my life can we talk ?
