Hello Win
how are you?
my mum also has cancer in her pelvic and par ortic lymph nodes
hiw is your treatment going? Xxxx
Hi Im not too bad. I had 6 chemo sessions doxil/taxol and hada good respose to chemo but not NED so i have been on rubracs since November but had to lower my dose about 3 times as platelets crashed. I had a scan in March which showed stable disease. Hows your mom doing?
Hello Winn
Thank you for taking time to respond to me
im pleased the chemo had a good response and you are now stable That is good xx
mum is ok. She halfway through her chemo cycle. She had her first scan yesterday but doesn't get her results I don't think until next week. We are very very nervous (not showing it to mum) but very much hoping the nasty cells have been killed off.
which medication are you on now? Is it immunotherapy? May I ask how the treatment is continuing?
sending you lots of love and best wishes ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ Xxxx
Hello Win56
Thank you for responding to me. Really appreciate it x
I was reading the above thread... did you get your para ortic lymph node removed in the end?
my mum has a recurrence of endometrial cancer in her pelvic lymph node and para ortic lymph nodes but she's been told they can't be removed.
im so pleased to hear you are stable and long may it continue
sending you lots of love and best wishes xxx ️ ️
Hello [@Hopeinalmighty]. Just replying to this as your mum's situation sounds very similar to my mum's. She has recelty had recurrance of endo cancer found in para aortic lymph nodes and been told they cannot be removed. (I think possibly the size of the tumour determines whether or not surgery is safe?) My mum is being treated in west london. Did your mum have hers removed in the end? Hope she is doing okay.
Love and best wishes.
Hello Rainbow
so nice to hear from you. I'm sorry your mummy is unwell. I'm sure with your love and support she will get through this
ive got some really positive news to share with you. We found out earlier this week that mums lymph nodes have shrunk back down to a normal size so the chemo has worked! I can't tell you how pleased we all are!
Mums being treated at a world leading hospital in cancer care in London and they've also put her on an immunotherapy trial which will last 2 years

im very happy to share advice and tips
ook forward to hearing from you xxxxx
Hello Win
how are you? Hope you are well and safe
Thought I'd let you know that my mummy has completed 6 cycles of chemo and received her scan results earlier this week. I'm very pleased to say that the nodes have shrunk down to a normal size!
the plan is to continue mum on an immunotherapy trial for the next two years.
I really do hope you are well. Look forward to hearing from you
sending you lots of love and best wishes xxxx
Thank you so much for sharing that news [@Hopeinalmighty] . I'm so happy for you and your mum.
My mum doesn't have a treatment plan yet as she's still awaiting her biopsy and results before they can make a plan but her consultant has said it will probably be chemo and radiotherapy.
can I ask how she got on the immunotherapy trial? My mum is also in London but her hospital say they don't do immunotherapy for endometrial cancer .
thank you again for sharing your positive news and giving me some hope at a dark time.
Hello
of course. Happy to give you all the details
can you accept my friend request? I can send you the details and how we got mum on the trial?
Look forward to hearing from you xxxxxx
