Hi, I got a weird prickly feeling in my reconstructed breast yesterday, and when I went to bed I noticed a pinprick rash like bleeding dots under the skin, which is smooth and intact, not weepy. Pannicked as there was more of it this morning, and as we were on holiday in Cornwall I was too late to book a gp appt by the time we got home, however, in the circumstances I got seen, and the breast care team rang me to offer an urgent appt with consultant tomorrow afternoon. Nurse speculated it could be shingles, although no other symptoms, and GP is stumped as to what is going on, just wondered if anyone else has had anything like this. He couldnt find any suspeicous masses or "collections" of fluid etc, nor did he suspect any compromise of cirulation to the area. It was a silicon implant- they removed one I had put in as a teenager over 40 years ago when i had my surgery, sonthe area has a lot of scar tissue, but never had anything like this before and its been freaking me out.seeing surgeon tomorrow afternoon.
