I hope I'm posting this in the right place. If not my apologies.

I've been issued a disability Blue Badge due to my cancer diagnosis. My question doesn't seem to be answered in the supplied paperwork. 

I'm on morphine so I am not driving whilst I'm on that. Now my wife does the driving and I am the passenger. What we normally do is park the car, my wife leaves me in the car for shopping or whatever.

So I'm sat  in the car alone with the badge on display.

Is this ok to do under the scheme?
