Hi all, I had a stem cell replacement in January 2017 and have been in remission until November 2019. In March 2019 I had a biopsy that found I had a myeloma cell plasma mass and was told I would have radiotherapy. In April I found I had another lump in my groin area. I saw a different consultant for a reason unknown to me and she told me she would organise a pet scan and radiotherapy for both lumps. She went to see my usual consultant and 5 mins later came back and informed me I was to have a second stem cell replacement. From that point it was though I was in a fog as I was originally told you only get 2 replacements. Before I commenced taking all the medication they gave me, the lump in my groin disappeared. I have asked for tests to confirm the second mass is/was myeloma because I feel the 2nd replacement should not go ahead without 100% proof. Has anyone had anything similar and/or had a lump that disappeared?
