Good evening everybody, Esophagus cancer that's what I've got. Had a few problems swallowing and got a bit of indigestion which was sorted normally with a glass of water. Was actually working in my profession for a couple of doctors, and just happened to mention it. Normal bloke thing "it'll be ok nothing to worry about." That's me. They examined me and referred me immediately, which was worrying for the first time, the rest is. Endoscopy which I thought was quite tense the guy doing was excellent. But I could tell the body language was worrying. Then after the mcmillian nurse walking towards me, I just smiled and thought. where is my nurse who prepared me ( I was watching how it worked on leaving the surgery). Then the diagnosis which I was not actually registering , was me. Had a CT. then PET. Have 4 rounds of Chemo ,1 done, then surgery then more Chemo x4. Wow what a whirlwind. Never had a cold Starting to come to terms now, found it incredibly helpful to talk to other people who are there or have been there. Had a couple of conversations and it is really important to share. makes me feel 100% better. Kind regards Nick from Essex
