Hello Kebbs
i hope my journey will be similar to yours! But I'm being positive which helps I guess as scary as it is the word C but it's great to see so many people are doing so well with their diagnosis.. yes I was asking about your receptors mine are both 8/8 and HER2 I don't know as they've not said anything as yet about it.
so true as to what you say about google I spend so much time searching! Not sure about oncology I test but my K67 score is low which I've read tells them how aggressive the tumour is ... so that is saying it's not aggressive hopefully!
I guess it's the wait until June which is like u say painful but nothing I can do about that.
thank u for your comments it's good to talk to people who have been on this journey and share their experiences.
thank you for the good wishes too
Hi Positive Polly
I hope u doing ok! I know how it feels only recently been diagnosed myself ️ So much to take in and feels like life has just changed. Are you going to have to wait for treatment because of Covid? I'm having to wait for a review in June. But have been put on Letrozole day I was diagnosed.
this is a great forum to share our stories with people who have gone through this journey or are about to.
please do keep in touch
sending you much love and good wishes
Hi Kelly,
I have been having problems with the private messages on this site for the past 6 weeks or so. Every time I click to answer a request the screen just goes blank, the timer turns and then it sticks. This has been reported to the moderators, so I am hoping that it will be up and running soon.
I am more than happy to accept your friend request, but we may need to wait until this facility is fixed. I shall let you know as soon as it's up and running again.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hello Jolamine i'm sorry to hear you've been having these problems. I do know you mentioned it when we were having the issues with the Ajax error message which was fixed last week. I did assume this was all part of the same problem as we haven't had any other complaints or emails about issues on the site. I will talk to our techncial team now as we thought everything was working again. As i'm sure you appreciate, we can't actually see your private messaging, as by its very nature it is private to you and because nobody else has told us they are having issues it may take a while to work out what is actually happening if it is just happening to you.
I will get back to you by email as soon as I can and in the meantime I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused
With best wishes

Hi Sarah,
This is my third attempt to reply to you. I can write a sentence, but no more and then the site seems to freeze. It won't even post the sentence.
Thank you for letting me know that the private messaging is still not fixed. Another area that is still playing up is when it comes to editing posts. When I click on edit it takes me to a blank page with the timer whirring around, but I cannot add anything to the page or post it.
I only hope that I can post this to you this time!
Many thanks for your help.
Jolamine
Thank you Jolamine this is all very odd as we aren't hearing that anyone else is having these problems. I have been talking to our technical experts who aren't having these issues either so it is taking a bit of time but I'm hoping they can suggest how you can improve things as it doesn't appear that we have an issue with the site. We will get back to you as soon as we can
That's great Sarah,
Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Jolamine
Honey,
I want to prepare you for what is to come. Please don't be a naive ninny like me, thinking 'oh they'll just operate, remove it, move onto radiotherapy, all clear.' What they will do is remove the tumour and a fair bit of tissue around it, to make sure they remove all the cancer. They may also remove a couple of lymph nodes and check them to make sure it hasn't moved there.
After this first operation, you may very well get your all clear, which I sincerely hope you do. Or you might get a call like mine, saying 'erm yeah, we found cancer on the edges of the extra tissue, so we need to go back in and take some more. Oh and those lymph nodes we removed, yeah, they both tested positive for cancer. Gonna need to whip 'em all out okay?'
Please don't anybody shout me down for scare mongering etc, I honestly was so naive and I wasn't prepared for that first results call.
Anyway, hugs honey and hope your treatment plan has been sorted
