Thanks Jolamine. Did start a new thread about it, but nobody commented. Prolly because I said I am using the forum to vent my anger. All this grief for an18mm tumour!!! I am so glad I listened to my Mum who told me to go to the GP, the week I found it. They are doing something about it and the pain after the two ops is worth it. I always say pain is good because it means I'm alive to feel it. I've talked to members of the chemo clan today, who've confirmed it is as bad as I think it's going to be, so that's OK. I'm hoping there are no secondaries too, but that depends on the ct scan results. I don't care why I have cancer, I have it and that's that. Everything happens for a reason and it will all become clear as I travel this journey with you all. Take care everyone and have a blessed evening
I am sorry to hear that you have had no reply to your new thread. I don't think that venting your anger here would put anyone off. We are here for everything. It is only natural to feel angry, annoyed,emotional, scared and a whole host of other emotions. We all know what these feelings are like and are here to give you the benefit of our experience, information or just to listen to you rant and rave - it's amazing how much better you can feel when you get your true feelings written down.
I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 11 years, but have no experience of chemo. As far as I can see, it all depends upon what type of chemo you have, as to how you'll react. I am glad to see that you have such a positive approach to it all. This will help you through.
It sounds as if you have a tough ride ahead of you, but we are all here to support you. I'm sure that you will come out of this a stronger person.
