Exercise and sleep

Feeling rubbish a week after my last chemo, was feeling a little brighter today. I spent a couple of hours in the garden digging over a little wildflower bed. Came inside feeling hot and then cold, so took myself off to bed and slept for 3 hours this afternoon. Woke up feeling better, maybe that's the answer to exercise a bit then rest, better than laying on the sofa watching box sets! Every day is different at the moment but today was not too bad.

    yes I am sure you are right about taking a bit of exercise and then resting. Fresh air helps too I think. 

    Don’t think there’s any harm in the odd box set though!!

  • Hi silver, good I'd exercise and rest. 

    That's trouble chemo can mess your body clock as well as fitness, so just do whatever feels right at the time rather than try to fight it, it's just getting a new normal and learning what it is.
