Please can anyone tell me how long it takes generally after radiotherapy treatment has concluded before burning to the skin cools down? My boob and armpit are on fire and I have three more radiotherapy treatments to go.
Hi, I can totally empathise with you . Radiation left my underboob bleeding. I hope you rad team have given you plenty of lotion for it? They gave me a special cream ( with silver in it) I suppose it took a good 3 weeks for things to settle down, I had to place dressings under my boobs too....
Its odd isn't it, you lay there thinking I can't feel anything, but you get home and see the damage...wow!
Well fingers crossed sounds like you've done ok. The effects will linger I'm afraid, my boob is still pretty uncomfortable and last session was in August ( I think) and now I have a brown boob and a white one! Lol
