Finished radiotherapy September after lumpectomy being treated for breast infection on antibiotics but have the orange peel type skin which is worrying me sick....anyone else had this after radiotherapy ?
Hi not until my yearly mammogram in May ...this has started over last 2 weeks rang the breast nurse today and she was lovely and said to ring the lymphadema clinic ..she put my mind at rest I really shouldn't google .
Hi carm59 just wanted to say your not alone. I suffered numerous infections after radiotherapy, 3 courses of antiobiotics and my skin just looks like thicknorange peel!! I have developed an inverted nipple after treatment that I can’t even push out as the skin around it is so thick. I’m waiting for surgery to correct it and hopefully stop the infections. Aw bless you it's horrible isn't it this just came on suddenly thought I was doing well but was so worried I spoke to a breast nurse this morning she was fab and very reassuring I felt a lot calmer today .
