Hi guys, I start my first session of FEC chemo on Monday.i am bit nervous.the nurse will be injecting in back of hand for an hour.anyone else had that type of chemo? Not looking forward to it.but guess it has to be done
good luck for Monday. This is how I received my fec chemo....and honestly? It's not as bad as in your head....they will pump you up with good stuff before the chemo goes in....and you'll feel fine.....it will probably hit you a few hours later....but just take it easy xxx
Fingers crossed its emend they've given you? I didn't get this on my first cycle and spent the next day in hospital vomiting.....got it there after though and had no problems!
your not being a wimp!! Chemo is a big deal love xxxxx
Hi Marlyn, it's called Aprepitant. Think they will give me more tablets to.oh dear, not good if you were in hospital following day.can I send you friends request please? Just so can ask you questions and advise?
HI Mandy, the unknown makes one fear and I know how the mind can work over time. I had it in poast and I do recall I was my own worst enemy. Although I hate needles I do remember it was nit as bad as I had thought it would be. They will rub cream on your hand as not to feel- like a numbing agent. Just stay positive and onoly think of it when you have to. Focus yor mind on other things. I found that helped. All the best.
