Hay shaky ...

It's like a marathon, when they run it ... you often hear they hit "the wall"  and feel like giving up ...  think we've all been there one way and another through this journey ... l remember at the beginning,  had this thought to end it there and then ... so it may help those I love not to go through this cancer journey of ours ...  but looking back so glad I didn't... 

So you hold on in there ... when you look back .. you'll understand just how amazing you did ... even when you don't think so ...  think of it like climbing a mountain.. your half way there .. you could roll back down ..  or you can look around and see how lovely it all looks around you .. you can see things from half way up, you couldn't see on the ground .. so look up and see the top .. and imagine the view from there ..

Climbing that mountain is probly the hardest thing you've done ... but don't think of the whole journey .. just put one foot up at a time .. and every time you get down .. sit there and see just how far you've come all ready ...   so have a good old rant .. go on get it all out .. shame we can't put down on here what we really think of cancer ... but think we all know exactly what they are ..

Hi shaky so sorry you're feeling down, hubby should be cheering you up, he sounds a propper misery you want to swap him for a better model, shame I don't know where you live I'd be round like a shot get him to take you out somewhere nice do some shopping all ladies like to spend money especially hubby's,, well try to bully him if you want,, God bless after all it is Sunday love... Aww Lisa, my heart goes out to you and i can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with the awful effects but you are almost there and need to tell yourslef that it is like any other medicine, it is going to help you get better even though it's ******* horrible, dig in your heels girl because you are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for. Can your "team" not give you something to help with the side effects ? Maybe tell them how bad you feel and see if they can help you out even a little.

Anytime you are feeling low and peed off, if you can manage to come on here and talk about it with people who understand what you are going through, it may help to take your mind of it for a wee while at least.

Take care hunni and don't be so hard on yourself.
