Hi some where on your friends paperwork there should be a note about getting to the hospital normally it will have a phone number it's local people who help out, you pay so much for fuel. I think. I've heard of others using it. Good luck.

Hi, if you call the chemo unit they will be able to let you know about transport, some areas will have hospital transport and others will have volunteers like billygoat.said.........hope your friend gets it sorted......chemo every day...wow 3 weekly is more than enough for me!

I saw a couple in the hospital a few weeks ago - hubby could hardly walk and wife using sticks - they were getting out of taxi - such a struggle - I asked if they knew thry could get lift - they didnt - I didnt have details with me so made a point of putting them on my phone for future - so many people arnt aware this is available
