Hi everyone I currently have IBC in right breast and lymph node I've had clearance masectomy and reconstruction and have oncology Wednesday for further treatment . I finished my period Tuesday so checked my other breast 2 days later has usual I have thickening on inner and upper side of breast and lump in my armpit ...I don't know if I'm been paranoid or over cautious ...do I tell someone or leave it till after treatment see if it go's away ...I don't want to appear over dramatic by asking is it even possible to get it in both breasts ...I have several breast cancers all invasive and grade 3 ...I'm feeling really anxious too so that might be contributing

    Hello, definitely talk to onco about it, they will be checking you over anyway and mine automatically checked my other boob and asked questions like....are you worried about anything else? 

    I had a really itchy nipple on the other breast but he gave it a thorough check and was happy ( and so was I)! 

    Every ache pain twinge ...you imagine it's all rearing its ugly head again....

    do you have any idea what your treatment plan may involve? I am currently on the chemo route after being told it was highly unlikely I would need it....they shouldn't raise our hopes...mind you, I was also told my lump was highly unlikely to be cancer!! Ah well......

    At first look I had 1.5 cm tumour x2 both invasive grade 2 and 3 then did lymph node biopsy found 1.5 cm tumour so did clearance when boob was removed only to find large tumour and small ones with invasive lymphovascular present so I have to have 6 rounds chemo Further surgery radiotherapy then hormone treatment...I'm gutted I was diagnosed in nov it's been utter crap since ....I hope yr doing ok xx
