Finding R-chop so hard

I am struggling. Only been out 3 or 4 times since 1st November as I feel terrible.  I was diagnosed with Marginal Lymphoma, low grade, in both eyes but a stage 4 Diffuse Large B Cell lymphoma in my lymph node.   I got neutropenia after my 2nd cycle of chemo.  I keep thinking I will better tomorrow.  Half way through chemo and may need radiotherapy after.  I keep hoping but finding hard to stay positive.

  • Hi

I had large-b of the mediastinum.  In remission for 11 months .

I had my R-CHOP as an inpatient as I have some disabilities and other medical concerns.  Two weeks after each session I was rushed back into hospital with sepsis.  So I know how bad you can sometimes feel.

I got through thinking R-CHOP is the best chemo for lymphoma according to the prof, so I just kept going.

The only time I left my home was to go to appointment's.  I was too scared to leave incase I caught something.

I am really sorry to hear your eyes are affected.  I'm blind from birth so really don't know how this effects you but I do feel for anyone who loses some sight, whether it's temporary or permanent.

Good luck and keep talking to us, are circumstances are different but I know what your going through.
