...like today, when I find myself (post-mastectomy and reconstruction) using micropore to tape a polybag around my breast so I can shower instead of the faff of the bath.

Today finds me first day post mastectomy (right breast, with 12 months wait before deciding on reconstruction). I was contemplating a shower at the hospital, how nice it would be to feel properly clean and of course how to keep the top half of me dry ... but then realised I have a cannula in my foot!
