Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr

Hi thanks for your reply .I turned 60 in June 2 months before my diagnoses so if government hadn't messed up retirement age for women I would have been retired and had stable income.but can't get my state pension for another 6 years doubt that I will be able to manage full time again but my company has to keep my job open .but there has been redundancy across company they want us old ones out
Hi thanks for reply yes my company doing redundancy right across board .I was 60 in June diagnosed in august.if government hadn't changed retirement age women I would have been retired.i wish I could get redundancy.i have spoke with McMillan at moment there are no benefits I can claim but may be eligible for pip as treatment progress.
Similar position to yours. There is a review going on at the moment and the aim is to cut staffing levels. Not financial stable enough to be able to retire and redundancy would be minimal so stuck right now but on wards and upwards. I’m getting well again and that’s what is important, I’ve dealt with cancer, efficiency reviews, yah, piece of cake!!!
Eeee tigercub yr post makes me want to go off on one nd kick right off lol. I’m 60 too ( 6 yrs for my state pension as well so on work pension) I at least had 9 months retirement before diagnosed- so glad I finished when I did. Seriously when I got my diagnosis- not the first thought but near the top was- blinkin robbed of me pension lol.
Hope u get sorted me dear nd head up look your diagnosis in the eye nd stare it down x

Ladies life has dealt us a curveball but we are strong enough to get through it. There is cuts all over the place and there are things out there to help us on this journey.
Rileyroo - a car makes life easier and that sense of independence is best feeling in the world. Enjoy Rosie and your pampering - you deserve it.
Sandra - your positivity is something that makes me feel so good and has helped me get mine back so thank you. I can see your dazzle and shine from here!
I'm dizzy and very tired today but am going to try to get to the gym if it improves. Seeing a friend for lunch fri. Been looking up volunteering opportunities local so that while I'm waiting for all this to heal I can help those with cancer. Haven't had much luck yet but will keep going. Also have to take care of a few things. I might be unemployed but boy do my days go quickly!
There are volunteers at the hospital where I go, they seem to do a variety of things. Would that be an ‘easy in’ maybe?
Take it easy if you’re feeling a bit dizzy, manicure with hand massage sounds much more relaxing!
Well as I've peeled off all my shellac due to getting worked up about yesterday's appt my nails look awful. Can't be asked to get out of bed yet!
Perhaps a movie day. What you up to rileyroo?
Ok stepping out of bed wasn't easy - very dizzy and that tiredness feeling where my body feels like lead to move. Fatigue here we come! Somehow I'm in an incredibly good mood!
I giggled when my hubby helped me and I almost fell! I am like a drunk teenager! Dunno why or what's caused it but oh Well, just go with the flow. So cold today so not a bad thing staying in.
Any movie suggestions Ladies?
