Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr
I think she feels she doesn't want to ask because I haven't been working since jan and I get her clothes and makeup throughout the year within reason. She's just secured a part time job whilst studying so guess that's gonna keep her busy. She needs to get out and about instead of sticking with me. It's been an absolute Godsend but she's young and should be enjoying her time.
She wouldn’t stick around as much if she didn’t want to. She’s still a teenager after all. You’re her mum. Just hope for your sake that she hasn’t got you on the short lead that mine seems to think is appropriate! Not sure who is the adult sometimes, now where’s my teddy, wah!
Ha ha - that made me laugh! No short leads with me. My son comes home for Xmas so am really looking forward to that. Where has this year gone?
I was in a right state last xmas (biopsy dec 22 diagnosed dec 28) so plan on making this xmas as fun & enjoyable as possible. Can't wait to put the tree up and my new miniature xmas lantern!

I have no idea who is going to be where this year. Daughter has a boyfriend currently so guessing she’ll want to spend some time with him. Son tells me there is some one for me to meet soon but
She lives in the same town, not sure what foster son will be doing. He quite often has to work Christmas/ new year and he has a life of his own now.
Well I’ve just bought for 2 more gifts so just one more nd done chuffed t bits. Mind u once the grandchildren came along we all agreed t limit spending on the gown ups nd agreed just t spend £25 on each other. This made things sooo much easier... for everyone. Christmas suddenly went back to being about the lil ones and family ( like u say Rileyroo what it should b about). We do lots of things together in lead up t Xmas. We all buy and make the Xmas food together too. So now ( to my relief) I know my RT will b finished by December lots of child friendly nd grown up things starting t get booked. So currently got booked pantomime, Santa steam train, Xmas markets weekend away, Family outing for an Xmas meal, 3 work meals and breakfast with Santa. Did I mention like u jbains I lovvvvve Xmas. :-) x
