Radiotherapy

20% left to do.

Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr

Sort one problem...

  • It must be a really anxious time for you, I’m crossing everything and will be with you in spirit, you can have some of the proper stufff when you get home afterwards

We all deal with this **** in our own way, it’s time for you that will let you heal, physically, yes, you’re having to manage a lot but along with that comes the emotional stuff, some of that is probably related to maybe feeling let down by your body, you eat well, exercise and do everything you should, why has this happened? Give yourself a break, you’ve done nothing wrong. Nature is female and therefore can be a ***. Take a deep breath and look at what you now have, quality over quantity.  That’s my take on this for what it’s worth. Find a pick axe now to smash the soap box!

Picking car up on Tuesday evening! Looking forward to being independent again.

  • Evening ladies

just back from 8 1/2 hrs at the metro centre. Phew bit of a marathon at the shops that like lol. Both my daughter nd her husband broke the screens on their phones so went t drop them off at the Apple shop t b fixed. Then food, shopping, coffee nd finallly pic up fixed phones.

On a bright note i really enjoyed nd didn’t get tired yeah.

Hope u both r enjoying your weekend

be well in mind nd body x

  • I'm so glad you're doing so we'll, Sandra. Long may it continue! Shops on a Saturday are only for the brave so well done! I was so tired yesterday so had to go.food shopping today and it took 1.5 hrs and I left home at 10;40am. At least we got food to eat! I love my smoothies in the morning! Enjoy your weekend ladies.x
  • Mine has been to Meadowhall and bought the place judging by the number of bags she came back with. I’ve done a bit of Xmas shopping but facebook style! Apart from the kids, I’ve got three left To get! Son has already had his, he needed to get something done on his car so I gave him most Of the money for it. Daughter wants a leather rucksack so that’s a trip to York, always a bonus And foster son wants cash for gym gear. Can’t think why, been down this road before, he starts out with all god intentions but if he goes twice that will be it. Feeling a lot better now, hope JBains is feeling a bit better?
  • Making the most while I’m ok like u say long may it last. I’ve had t stop having the bottled juice I was buying cos was starting to get bad heartburn since I’ve stopped having I’m ok. Will start again soon but will drink less than I was see if I can get a happy balance.

Love shopping but not so much food shopping... but got t b done:-)

  • Love York. Used t go at Xmas for the ice festival but they stopped doing it. They have a discount Mulberry shop there too... gotta love that in itself lol.

Ive got 3 more t buy for then I’m done for Xmas. Prepped in advance in case wasn’t up to it when I thought my RT was gonna b in December. X

  • Daughter was at uni in York so used to go a lot more than I do now. Still love it for shopping other than food, unless you’re talking restaurants or of course Betty’s. Takes about an hour from here. Lincoln is OK but can’t beat York!
  • Hey ladies yes am bit better - just really tired. I only go shopping when I need sthg. Wow that's organised! I haven't even thought about it yet. My daughter turns 18 first on 2 Dec so need to sort that first. Any ideas on what i can get her? She's quite girly but doesn't want jewellery. I've asked her but says doesn't know what she wants.

  • Well jewellery is my go to present for ‘big’  birthdays so that’s me out! What about something like one of those special experience days for something she’s interested in?

  • I asked about all that but think will just get her something I think she'll like. A bit more research required. Shopping in central London when am feeling up to it. Thanks for help.x
