Just a thought Jbains, but have you considered that some of your problems could be related to Tamoxifen? Sadness and depression can be a side effect for Possibly 10% of those taking it. Had a quick look at what the cruk site says and this is mentioned.
Don’t know if you categorise any of your problems as depression or sadness but it might be worth looking into?
What you are describing sounds very similar to how I felt after I had a hysterectomy and ovary removal nine years ago. Out of control and nothing I seemed to be able to do about it.
Hello sorry was resting. My whole body is aching from yesterday.
Went to support group - it wasnt on and I was given incorrect info in email. It really has not been my week! But made sure my name was put into list to see counsellor.
All is okay. Those feelings I get are fleeting but often. I'm glad you didn't get what i got a few days after I finished treatment. I quiver when I think about it.
My daughter has got herself a part time job so am glad. She has stuck to me since all this began. They are such a blessing. Best news I've had all week!
And may it long continue! I am also getting quite anxious about my mammo on tues. This is the first detailed check since diagnosis. It just brings it all back. I think I just went thru the motions and thought I had faced it but guess not. Just want this year to be over as it has been really sh**.
