Hello ladies,

Glad that some good things are happening in your lifes.

Unfortunately my boyfriend is not so well and I'm struggling with a doubt, and perhaps you could help me with some advice.

This week on Monday my boyfriend was hospitalised due to vomiting blood and it appears he is in his final days. I was a bit anxious, so on Wednesday I came to his city to visit him and help to support his parents. On Monday doctors said he could live like 4 or 5 days, but he is now on the 6th day of admission... I have been helping every single day, because most people can't stand much time in his hospital bedroom (it's too painful) but me and his mum are handling. Today is Sunday and I must decide if I go back to my city to work tomorrow or if I stay here.

He's almost not responsive anymore, with oxygen tubes, difficulty to pee (he's on diapers), fevers, cannot eat, cannot talk or communicate, sleeps 90% of the time due to the drugs for the pain. I don't know if I should stay here (it's like waiting for him to die) but if I go to work I don't feel fine either because I don't have almost no work (my boss doenst give me tasks and it's my last week at the job anyway, I'll be there looking to the ceiling pretending I'm working most of the time)... What should I do? 

Hi so sorry t b reading this unfortunately this must b your own decision( difficult though it is). You are still between a rock and a hard place. It’s not that I don’t want t help you just can’t advise.

just picked this up, my heart goes out to you. Reading through your post I feel in the last paragraph you answered your own question....if you went into work ( even if you had tasks to do) your mind would be back in that hospital room.....take a deep breath and listen to what your gut is telling you.... I feel you already know.....xxxxxx

im so sorry to hear your sad news x

I can’t advise you but having been in the same situation with both my parents I followed my heart and spent every moment with them until the end came for them. I feel your pain and send you love at this very sad time for you xxx
