Hi peeps

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking the excellent advice on this website I pretty much started by taking it one day at a time. This does indeed help. 

I thought to share the good and the bad and would love to hear anyone else's should they wish to share.

Today I had both a good and a bad moment. I received 2 letters in the post.

The first was from the hosp confirming my op date (my bad moment) cos my stomach dropped and I had that now familiar feeling of anxiousness take hold for a moment but shook it off cos I know it is needed. 

The good - my 2nd letter - as if... a tax rebate - boom  . Not half put a much needed smile on my face . Reckon a my treat family meal is in order.

Eeee it's the little things ain't it.

    bad :- none

    good :- watched them filming for the last kingdom at my local beach yesterday - lots of blokes in armour with tha sword in tha hands...oooh errr mrs ;-) ....amazing ️.

    Hey you lovely lot, it's me! There's a lass who at 25 has just been diagnosed with breast cancer , she has been told her chances of having a family are slim, I cant remember the lovely lass on here who found out she was expecting at the end of her chemo? I would love to tag her if she didn't mind....

     

    hope you all well....I've finished chemo and start rads Monday, had my first herceptin yesterday...so far so good.....xxxxxx

    Thanks for the quick reply......yep, it's so good to see the *** of light! It's been a bumpy ride but I'm getting there......now let's see how I tag dizzel......xxxx

    Lol.....have no idea why the word " c h I n k " has been dotted out? Can anyone enlighten me on how to tag someone? I have chemo brain and am menopausal all in one! Eek!!! Xx

    if you put the @ sign then type dizzel ( no spaces) a list will start to display pick Dizzel82 from list nd it will change to a link when u save.  X
